Project Runway All Stars Contestant Joins Brother Int’l at CES Show in January

Anthony Ryan Auld, a designer on this season’s hit reality fashion television show Project Runway All Stars 2 and a contestant on last year’s Season 9 of Project Runway, will appear at the Brother booth at International CES in Las Vegas January 8 and 9, 2013.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ – The Home Appliance Division of Brother International Corporation, a leading supplier of innovative products for the home sewing enthusiast, recently announced that Anthony Ryan Auld, a designer on this season’s hit reality fashion television show Project Runway All Stars 2 and a contestant on last year’s Season 9 of Project Runway, will appear at the firm’s booth at International CES in Las Vegas January 8 and 9, 2013. Brother will be located in Booth 71109 in the Venetian Hotel on Level 2, Hall D. It will  also have a display at ShowStoppers @ CES 2013 on January 8 in the Lafite Ballroom of the Wynn Hotel from 6-10 p.m. Auld will be demonstrating Brother sewing machines and signing autographs.

We are pleased to have Anthony Ryan join our team at the show since he knows first hand how easy-to-use and tech-friendly our Brother sewing machines are.”

Auld is quite familiar with Brother sewing machines, having used the Brother sewing machines during his tenure on both Project Runway and Project Runway All Stars. “Brother sewing machines are some of the best machines I have ever put my hands on,” he says. “From their incredible industrial machines I used on the show to create my winning fashions to the home-based machines I’ve recently acquired for working on projects at home, they are truly feature-rich and durable and really tower over the competition.”

Anthony Ryan Auld is a 28-year-old fashion designer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana who most recently appeared as a designer contestant on the second season of Project Runway All Stars, which premiered October 25, 2012 on Lifetime. Previously Auld was a contestant in 2011 on Season 9  of  Project Runway. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in fashion design, with a minor in business, from Louisiana State University in 2010. Auld received the Best in Show at Fashion Group International’s Dallas Career Day in 2010.

The 2013 International CES (CES), the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, will be held January 8-11, 2013 in Las Vegas. Products from the Home Appliance Division of Brother will be displayed in Booth 71109 at the Venetian Hotel in the Mommy Tech area of the Venetian TechZone. In addition to its booth, the Home Appliance Division of Brother International Corporation will be displaying DreamWeaver™ XE at ShowStoppers @ CES 2013 on January 8 in the Lafite Ballroom of the Wynn Hotel from 6-10 p.m.
