Springville, UT  August 18, 2016 – – A provider of retail Point-of-Sale (POS) software in the quilting industry, today announced extended support of Total Retail Solution (TRS). One year ago, Like Sew Acquired JMM Software and its Point-of-Sale System, TRS. At the time of acquisition, Like Sew agreed to support TRS through 2015 in order to give its users a window to switch to a new software solution. They have extended that support indefinately. “The needs of our customers are our top priority,” said Like Sew President, Sean Roylance.

Because of client demand, Robert Pirone has agreed to remain with Like Sew to lead the ongoing support for TRS users indefinately. Robert had been with JMM for 10 years at the time of acquisition, and has since proved a valuable asset in continuing to support TRS users as part of the Like Sew team. “Robert’s experience with Total Retail Solution is invaluable and will enable our ongoing support of TRS users.” said Roylance. “We’re glad he will stay with our team.”

“TRS isn’t going to work forever,” said Robert Pirone. “It’s built on old technology. Eventually Microsoft is going to change something in Windows that will most likely make TRS no longer usable.” Robert and the rest of the team are happy to support stores running TRS, with the understanding that TRS was built on dated software and will soon be obsolete.

Founded in 2008, Like Sew provides a cloud-based, all-in-one POS and website solution with integrated inventory for stores in the quilting, sewing, needle arts, and vacuum industries. Like Sew is based in Utah and runs under the parent company, Rain Retail Software.
